Diversity MadeSimple by Root™, from Root Learning, brings the issues of workplace diversity and inclusion to life for your company. In a highly interactive discovery process, managers and performers learn how to meet the needs of customers and employees of differing races, genders, abilities, and other parameters. Program Description
During the Diversity MadeSimple session, participants work in facilitated groups of 7 to10, exploring issues with the help of a colorful visual, a guided dialogue, and card exercises. Topics include:
- An exploration of many groups of people "yesterday, today, and tomorrow" from a U.S. and global perspective.
- How diversity impacts a company's ability to compete in the marketplace.
- The demographic changes that have occurred in your organization over the years and the impact of these changes.
- The common cultural perspectives in your organization and in society at large.
- Your company's initiatives and programs that are designed to improve the overall diversity of your workplace
Implementation/Customization
The Diversity MadeSimple by Root™ module is typically deployed within a 2.5-to-3 hour timeframe. Materials may be customized to your organization.
