Karen Carlsen-Carney

Advantage Performance Group Partner Karen Carlsen helps organizations improve performance, leadership and profitability. As partner for more than 14 years, she specializes in leadership, business acumen and sales mastery. She helps leaders plan and execute their vision, goals and return on investment.

By focusing on helping companies develop and implement effective leadership development, talent management, and overall organizational strategies, Karen helps her customers succeed. It’s her customers that she enjoys the most!

Karen has worked in the training industry for over 20 years. Her career includes serving in business development, marketing, and training roles in the recruiting industry for Robert Half International and Accountants Plus. She has also worked in the public accounting field.

Karen earned a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Oregon. She has served on the Board of Directors for Professionals in Human Resource Association (PIHRA), National Human Resources Association (NHRA), and ATD’s Organizational Development Special Interest Group. She also serves as Co-Chair of Women in Organizational Development.

Karen lives in Laguna Beach, CA, where she enjoys her passions for great music, dance, and the sunny beaches.
