There's a new book coming soon from authors who are part of our extended family at Advantage Performance Group, and we'd like to help them with their pre-order sales kickoff.

From 50 to 500: Mastering the Unique Leadership Challenges of Growing Small Companies by Jonathan Dapra, Richard Dapra, and Jonas Akerman is scheduled for release in February. A pre-order book launch was held Saturday, November 12.

Jonas Akerman and Richard Dapra have a rich history with our sister company, BTS USA.

"This book from our longtime friends is surely destined to be a best seller and something that adds value to business leaders around the world," said Advantage President & CEO Jonathan Hodge.

The three are also launching a company along with the book, Alaric, whose offerings will include a self-assessment especially made for small business leaders trying to grow companies.

After working to help grow BTS USA, Jonas moved back to his native Sweden to run a housing development company with about 120 people. He noticed that the challenges he had on a daily basis were similar to those at BTS, despite the two being completely different industries.

"So I wanted to start a company, share my experiences, and help people who were trying to grow companies," Akerman shared in an email to Advantage partners. "Rich Dapra then said that his son had just written his doctor’s thesis on the leadership required to grow small companies. So we decided to spend the time in the pandemic to write the book."

A portion of the book sales goes to Work Vessels for Vets, an organization committed to equipping America’s injured veterans with the tools they need to start a business or pursue career education.
