Talent Development Tuesday
Building success in talent development – one thought at a time.
Reinventing work
“The best way to predict the future is to invent it.”
– Alan Kay
The teams making real progress with AI aren’t waiting for permission.
They’re not following a transformation roadmap or sitting through an AI readiness assessment. They’re at their keyboards, asking what this thing can actually do for them — and reinventing their work in the process.
Bottoms-up AI innovation is messy and powerful in equal measure.
It starts with hands-on exploration —testing possibilities, hitting friction, discovering what’s genuinely useful. The organizations getting this right aren’t prescribing use cases. They’re asking a better question: What could this make easier, faster, or more meaningful in your role?
Governance still matters — InfoSec, platform decisions, guardrails. But governance without experimentation doesn’t produce safety. It produces stagnation.
For us as talent development partners, the implication is clear. Our job isn’t to deliver AI answers. It’s to build the environments — and the leaders — that make team-level reinvention possible.
The future of work isn’t being handed down. It’s being invented, right now, by the people doing the work.
If this is a conversation your organization is ready to have, reach out to us or connect with your Advantage partner. We’re in this work — and we’d love to be in it with you.
