Selva Blum

Selva is a senior leadership development consultant at Advantage Performance Group, focusing on the Coaching and Leadership Practice. She began her leadership consulting career as senior consultant and leadership practice leader at Hewitt-AON, where she led the first Top Companies for Leaders Research in Latin America, which is published by Fortune magazine. She also held senior HR leadership roles in the US and Latin America, in companies such as Citigroup, Nuance and Marriott Vacations where she led talent management and coaching programs.

She is a dynamic consulting psychology practitioner and board-certified executive coach with extensive experience in corporate HR, talent management and executive coaching.  She is recognized by her contemporary, and innovative approach to coaching and leadership development. She specializes in interpersonal dynamics, implementing proven research-based neuropsychology strategies and organizational methodologies in the areas of emotional intelligence, communication, conflict resolution, presence and self-awareness, allowing leaders to engender a positive culture, engagement, adaptability and business growth in complex environments.

Selva holds a BA degree and license in clinical psychology from the University of Buenos Aires, graduate studies in M.S. in industrial and organizational psychology at California State University and a master in business administration from Florida Atlantic University. She is a board-certified executive coach and certified to administer psychological evaluations and personality assessments. She is a member of the Harvard Institute of Coaching and the Society for Consulting Psychology at the American Psychological Association where is a member of the Training and Development Committee. Selva is fluent in English and Spanish and conversational in Portuguese. She resides in South Florida with her two children.
